Working to connect Hammondsport graduates in meaningful ways.
Mission
This organization was formed in order to promote and maintain interest in Educational affairs, the welfare of our Alma Mater, to maintain a complete list of all graduates and members of this association, to encourage social, friendly and fraternal communications among its members and the community.
History
The Hammondsport Alumni Association was founded in 1902. Its first scholarship awards were made in 1928, and every year hence. The names of all graduates from 1923 to date are stored in the association’s digital files, maintained by the secretary. In 1995, the association published a 109 page Memory Book with an in depth history of the Village, the schools and of the alumni.
Members
Any graduate receiving a diploma from the Board of Education of the Hammondsport Central School System may be a member of the Hammondsport Alumni Association. Any graduate of any other jurisdiction who was a student in the 9, 10, 11 or 12 year of school at Hammondsport may be a member of the Alumni Association and eligible to serve on the board of directors.
