2024 Homecoming

This is the third year that the Hammondsport Alumni Association has participated in the Homecoming parade. Alumni can be found leading the parade directly behind the police car. We are given that position in order to establish the greatest amount of enthusiasm from the spectators for the students following us! All alumni are welcome to join us in throwing candy, giving out pencils, and blowing bubbles. 

Traveling around the square offers us a great view of the students behind us. School pride is evident in the creative floats that each class produces. Community pride is displayed by the great decorations the merchants exhibit! Church groups cheer us on! Closer to the end of the route the elementary children exit the bus to walk and start the cheer “HCS…. WE’RE THE BEST!”
